    Best sounding motorcycle?

The Inline 6 thread got me thinking. What is/was the best sounding motorcycle ever made?

CBX1000 for me closely followed by VFR750 (early one). I'm such a honda fag. Sound clips appreciated.

    The mean greenie...

Sorry about the poor audio quality, it still sounds mean though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huemm...eature=related
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

    Truimph. All of them.

BSA had a mean sound too.

Just something about the Brit bikes in the sound department. Might be the water or the weather but nothing else comes close.

Triples sound good, but it's still hard to beat a 90º V-twin in the sounds department.!

Yup i must admit that is whats making me consider ducatis
i was going to go for a japper 600 but a nice 740 or 996 would go nicely in the garage, with twin carbon termignoni's (sp?) of course.

This one is going for 14k and i have been dreaming of it for quite some time **drool**

After that it'd be a Trident with a 3-1 or any of the other 120 degree triples at full noise
