    T-boned tonight..

    Right well, that was fun.

On the way to the AWNR I was heading towards a traffic light which had two lanes, one blocked up and me going down a free one, a young fella was pulling off from the side and t-boned me right in the side.. I flew off and his front tyres went completely over my bike and reversed back over again..

I'm alright, dislocated my shoulder but popped it back at the scene, buggered foot, leg and finger. Bike's.. okay..-ish. My old man managed to ride it back for me but it's got a nice dent in the tank, all the levers are twisted, front mud guard bent and some other rubbish..

Got his license plate number and mobile but he says he doesn't want to involve insurance.. I don't even have insurance and am curious to know whether he does. He said his name was 'Goose'... F'in brilliant. He said he'd pay in cash but just wait till he hears the figures..

I was wearing full leathers so I got off with just impact damage, cept i'll feel grateful after I get over being so fucked off..

Ah shite. That's no good mate. I know how anger makes you less able to appreciate stuff, so it's good to hear you realise you'll feel better when the fucked-off-ness wears off.

Good luck for getting your bike back into a better order and fast healing.

All accidents involving injury MUST be reported to the Police, do this and make a statement as soon as possible. In fact write everything down now!

@Swoop: I got him to give me his details straight away and he was hesitant in the slightest, only gave me his mobile number but didn't look like he was making it up. I also asked him if I could take the license plate that had fallen off off his hands as a momento and he didn't mind cause he was about to throw it in the in, so i've got the dudes license plate, hoping it isn't stolen..

To be honest, i'm not really expecting this guy to pay much, but I should be able to sort out a few of the problems and get it running again pretty quickly.

@Saslex: About the injury thing.. I don't really want to report it to the police.. i mean I know I was 100% in the right and there's nothing that could go against me just.. not a fan of dealing with the police. I'll be heding to A&E tommorow and will mull it over then.

    Thanks for the support folks.

glad to hear you are alright though! did you check his details? i had the same thing in may cage some time ago and made the mistake of not checking his details, never saw the guy again
I know it sounds wanky but when ever this sort of thing happens involve the cops that is what we pay there wages for and then at least you know you will get a straight answer from the guy.

You're crazy man. If the guy gave you his number plate, then the vehicle is stolen or unregistered or just been used in a petrol drive-off.

Don't be such a victim, give the cops the details, in fact he's right you do have to report an injury accident.

Haha well this has become a little more interesting.

A couple of mates of mine have said they recognise his name and description.

If this guy screws me over i'll have to pay him a visit.

I have a couple of cop mates checking out his license plate details already aswell.

Yea dude. Tell the cops for real, or next thing you know you will be getting a bill for repairs to his car cause you hit him. It happened to some one I know. Cost them DEARLY. Imagine having to pay for his damage even tho you are in the right.

And get insurance. Even third party in case it is an expensive car that you accedentally hit. It does happen.

    Glad you are OK mate.

If you got a casual/part-time job, you got no excuse for not even having 3rd party insurance.

Don't risk it again bro, just buy the damm thing because shit happens in life for sho!
