If you have no attachments apart from friends and family, move down south! You can always come home, and I've heard the southern hospitality is pretty good!
Get rid of those NANA knickers, and FIGHTER it!

You can pick your nose and you can pick your friends, but you cant eat your friends!

Yeah, it's a real bitch sitting back and reading about someone else's Karma.

How is this anything to do with karma whatsoever?

Do you even know what your own post is talking about?, please do enlighten me.

Take the job down the line.

Keep your head down and your ass up working

    Don't fuck it up.

Save enough money to buy a van and a racebike, once you are reintroduced to your licence.

Actually, since you got disqualified for a year, do you need to start again on your licence? (i,e do basic handling, etc).

But yeah, take the fucking job.

Is this the job subike offered you in that other thread??

    Take the fucking job.
    Stop asking people here,
Stop trying to think of reasons not to go

Go, go go. Ring him tonight and say "Yes, please, when do I start?"

Then sell your bike and anything not required for whatever you can get to pay your fare down there.

This, young Mark, could be the making of you.

    TAKE THE FUCKING JOB.

I voted Greta Valley. Mainly in the hope that you go there and there is no internet access.

Do you have to make a decision tonight? I'd wait until after the weekend, most likely by then you'll be a bit clearer about what is the right thing to do, for you.

While you have doubts is probably not a good time to decide (but don't let fear stop you). Just give it a few days ....more will be revealed.

IMO Mate, you need to give it a go,you've certainly gotta get out of that flat. You make it sound like it's a world away. Disco Dan did that journey overnight. Give yourself a break,an adventure, a holiday, if you don't like it,you can be back with your family in a day although I would hope your commitment to the fella offering the job and flat would amount to more than that.

one of my lads, had so many opportunities thrown his way and he wasted them all, drugs, police, dropout crap then out of the blue someone threw him yet another life line and he grabbed the bastard finally. No school quallies, no home, no money just trouble on a stick. He now earns $350 an hour. It's not all about money but it is about taking the chance to turn your life around.

Maybe this is your chance, hope so bud, good luck.

What has Greta Valley done to deserve skidMark!

Stay in Auckland and sort yourself out, if you can!

Are you having your period again, we have heard all this sort of stuff before. John.

You can ask for all the advice in the world, however YOU are the only person who can make the CHOICE to do something.

As for leaving your friends and the safety of what you all ready know. Sometimes a person needs to step outside their existing comfort zone and do something new.

I was faced with a similar choice, of staying in Aus, and not advancing in my career at the time, or take the CHANCE and leave everything and everyone I knew and cared about behind and come over here to NZ, and start something new. I made the CHOICE to come over here, and have not looked back or regretted one single day. I have a brilliant job, have met some outstanding people, I converse with some equally outstanding people online on KB. And have met some really good friends over here..

If you make the CHOICE and go and it doesn't work out, then you can not turn around and say YOU NEVER GAVE IT A SHOT.

One thing though, once you make the choice, stick with it, because thats the only way you will get to discover what you have inside you..
