Sent no photo's in with the letter as I do want it to go to court so I can make the little fucker squrim in his seat when the judge throws it out...then I'll have great satisfaction telling him he's a nazi oxygen thief that deserves the utmost in karma judgment!
Its a principle that needs to have its day in court for me to be satisfied that I'm not a criminal....FFS when I mounted the plate originally I spent ages making sure it was high enough so when I sit on the bike etc you could still see it...I've got a light on it....?!?!?! I'll save the photos for court!
You've made the mistake thinking he is going to care... He might hunt motorbikes probably more vigorously too...
You're not a criminal, it was only a traffic ticket, not the crime of the century.
Just seemed like a waste of your time going to court at all, let alone when you can stop it dead now.... He is paid to be there. You won't be.
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Better to keep my evidence to myself (well appart from on kiwibiker ...lol) and show it in court without doing them favors by showing my cards too early I reckon. Besides, they already have photos of my bike...the cop took some on the side of the road when he pulled me over.
As far as my time involved in my defense, it will be minimal and I believe it will give great satisfaction to shove one up 'the man' - I know I'm not a criminal but he is suggesting that I am...hes a cock for ticketing me for this in the first place and it will be absolute after a court throws it out and he sees my middle finger waving good bye to him....fucker!![]()
Most likely the cop will just shrug his shoulders and head off back to work, it's not like his boss is going to give him a black cross beside his name or something, I feel you're focus on shove one up 'the man' is eating you up, sure, get a 'win' but do it for yousefl, not to try and 'get one back'.
Winding up drongos, foil hat wearers and over sensitive KBers for over 14,000 posts...........![]()

True... but he didn't, and off to court he goes, in his own time....
Be at court by 10am, go through "roll call" for those that are there, deal with the locked up ones perhaps, morning tea time by then, then go alphabetical, or alphabetical in reverse, whatever... then lunch... for an hour and a quarter... then hear some more cases go through the motions, then find out its knock off time and it gets put off to another day, where you start it all over again.... just perhaps....
And all avoidable by showing the bureau a photo...
Ironically, the Official Information Act and Privacy Act say they have to show you the evidence they have against you, but there is no obligation for you to show them your photo. Go figure.
I'm not sure what happened at the roadside, there are two sides to every story, but you are not a criminal. Well you might be, but not for having an obscured licence plate.
You'll get personal satisfaction from venting at the cop on fixture day, but it won't make a blind bit of difference to him. Don't expect it to. Your call obviously, but I'd just kill the thing dead and move on. Maybe the IPCA (Independant Police Complaints Authority) is the place for you to get your satisfaction, but the court will only waste your time.
You're a grumpy man, possibly justifiably, but this is a mountain from a mole hill. Don't lose sight of the forest behind the tree you are looking at. The forest is quite nice to see.
Biggles is a fuckin criminal and a hoon, have you seen him ride?

You might want to check the law on number plate visibility before wasting your money.
Now I'm not saying this is a fact but it might be that number plates must be seen from certain angles just as indicators do (in law).
I can't remember the actual numbers but I think you have to be able to see indicators from angles 30 degrees to either side of the bike. Could be the same with plates.
That said, the underslung number plate setup makes a bike look great!
