i like it - not to over the top, but i agree black with white would look good, or metallic blue with silver flames

Cant get em in gloss black anymore, they stopped making them in gloss black in 06... now you get granite or err graphite black? ...gloss black looks better though.

In regard to post 1 link, i think the flames are a bit too biker boyz hot rod wank wank.

Hot rod flames are best left on hot rods.

    But, each to thier own.

Yeah, the Hyosung below makes the point I was trying to make about the flames.

I believe it will get an extra 5hp out of it with the flames.

Picture of the desired machine below.

If you desire a set of flames on your own ride you can have them added with vehicle stick-on graphics. Pretty cheap and fully removable.

meh.....I've seen one in person at my local dealer.........its nothing special. That yellow was the first '08 they got in and its STILL sitting there.....they've since got in and sold a liquid silver, a blue, and a black one. Nobody wants the yellow with flames heheh.

Now the old R-6 LE (Limited Edition) yellow was freakin hotness. I wanted one sooooo bad but couldnt find a new one or a pristine used one.

Here's a pic of the R-6 LE......I think you will agree that its kicks the shit out of the 08 yellow:

While the flame job might look coold for a day or two I am sure I would soon get a bit tired of it. I would pick the red and white version if I was buying one:

very nice, but (unfortunately) it doesn't beat the factory flame paintjob on a zzr1400.
it matches it though eh, all you need to complete it is a pic of a near-naked chick hanging on for dear life..haha!

Yellow's cool, but the flames makes it look rather gay...

I mean it's fast enough alreadly.
