Did over 800kms on the weekend and rarely broke the law.

Dont always hold the past against people. Most of my tickets/fines have occured purely from license condition breaches, and now thats behind me.

Good to see the high and mighty parade out in force.

As fate would have it a friend of my boyfriend was told by a police officer that ticketed him for riding a GSXR600 two weeks before his full licence test that if he contacted the officer within 28days with proof that he had successfully passed his full licence then the ticket would be waived. His history wasn't quite as checkered as morcs' but still not a stirling example of how to stay inside the law - he got off the ticket.

Whats that saying? "If you cant do the time... dont do the crime"
By all means take the risk but if you get caught then put your hand up and take responsibility for your actions.

Hell, I sent in a letter once to get off an infringement notice because I was actually innocent. They refused, I had to pay and I did have a clean record.
In the end I decided to view it this way. Several times I’ve been fortunate enough to receive leniency when dealing with police in the form of warnings and having speed reduced on infringement notices when I was guilty. So I realised that 1 baddy attached to several goodies still leaves me on the + side.

There is absolutely nothing high and mighty in saying ... "If you break the law (in this case knowingly) then pay the price."

If I break the law I pay I don't whinge about getting fined. Nothing high and mighty there .. just realistic.

To The high and mighty parade:

Get the fuck out of my thread please.

the title clearly states I require assistance - if you aint here to give it, fuck off you load of useless pricks.

I think i damn well know (more than any of you here actually) about doing the crime and doing the time.

oh and thanks for those who actually said something helpful/constructive. much appreciated.

    Steve.

    Closer (especially the last part).
But that's not what you said the first time is it?
I'm pleased to see you are capable of learning, with the right teaching techniques. Well done.

Please dont talk down to me from your high perch.

from my calculation I have been riding 8.23 x longer than you. And you quite obviously have never owned a bike that can wheelie, stoppie, or do 0-100 in 3 seconds or less... not to mention smaller than 5 foot wide and less than 300kg...

Mate - I've said it all before - I won't bother repeating myself.

Take Jrandom's letter (about the 10th post in this thread) fill it out and submit it. There are 100 ways to write the thing and that's probably one of the better ones.

Good luck and FFS - don't do it again... honestly - in my eyes you're falling into a select group of repeat offenders that are pinged for doing really basic dumb shit. THEY have the excuses of extreme youth, naivity and exuberance... and I don' think you do (yes - that was a backhanded compliment).

Think of the mods or track time you could have had instead of funding Uncle Helens Disabled Car Parking Goon Squad

I used 'randoms letter and posted it off yesterday.

Will see how it goes and update the thread in about a year when I get a response...

I have hit a turning point, and will be very very disappointed in myself If I continue to rack up fines at anything near 50% of the rate I have done in the last 2 years.

Mate you're a good bastard - that's the thing that pisses me off most I think... You are better than this.
