4Gb brings it up to 2 hours of 640x480@30fps footage.

how long do the AAs last though? especially on the ATC5K with the view screen?

couldnt find anything that said how long batterys will last just that it took AA batteries.

will still be cool though. can use it for mountain biking as well as motorbiking

It can be used for everything.
The video quality isn't the best and the sound is awful but people keep using them

The batteries (I use 2300maH AA's) last about 3 hours - less when it's cold.

Damn, just after I get an ATC3K as well, I would much rather have waited for this!

    Maungatapu snow hunting...

    OK...

This was the view from home this morning.

So I quickly cancelled all my plans and jumped on the mighty DR and headed off up the Maungatapu.

The view going up the track was amazing.
Nikau and cabbage tree fronds covered in snow with the dark background and the track winding through the snow dusted manuka.

I thought "Right, I'll get those photos on the way back cause there'll be a 4wd up my chuff if I keep stopping for shots.

At the summit it was sweeeeet...

    Some obligatory bike poseing...

    Some bike and me poseing...

Some of the local vegetarian wildlife...

And then my camera battery died due to the cold.

    Hope it's freezing tonight

Did you happen to see a tan swb 40 series (late 70's/early 80's) Landcruiser as you were heading down. They were gunning for you but missed
