Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Hand above head rotating the hand (as in rotating flashing police lights) generally does the trick as far as a warning though.

I've seen that. I just thought it was a tick peculiar to 1000cc sprotsbike riders.

    I do nothing.

Or flash my headlights constantly - regardless if any cops are about or not.

    Depending on my mood.

I usually flash my lights. Seems to be the recognizable signal. Think there was a post some time back where a KBer was warned for flashing their lights. Just don't recall exactly what they were threatened with but to date have not heard of anyone 'ever' being convicted for 'flashing' but the counter argument of 'interferring' with an officer etc would be 'assisting' the officer etc.

You should be allowed to warn people, if the person speeding is alert they will see warning and avoid said fine. If they are druken, tired, can't see properly or an ass or whatever they will not react, and they deserve the fine.

I think the flat palm up and down works best as you can kinda figure it out even if you don't know what it means.

I had always wondered what the leg out meant! Thought they must be getting cramp or something and didn't want to ask anyone ( I usually ask silly questions!! )...

I haven't had to warn anyone as yet although had often wondered what the most common sign was.. Think I'll go with the wurlie twirly thingy over ya head idea..

May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the crotch of the person who screws up your day and may their arms be to short too scratch...

I think (and this is from years ago so details may have changed) you can be charged with something like 'causing annoyance to another road user'. I guess it's only ever a threat though because if you defended the charge the police would have to front up in court with the person who they said were annoyed by it and get them to confirm their annoyance.

Well there's an opening: "I'm really pissed off, this dick on a bike was flashing his headlights at me, it was really, really annoying"

It is quite satisfying using the horn occasionally...
Particularly when a cheeky myna bird has casually hopped out of the line of travel and is being quite smug about it...
BEEEEEEEEPPPP!!!!!! gets the little bastard flying!

    Depending on my mood.

a group of us were coming down SH2 on sunday and a truck flashed his lights and then bloody near jumped out of his truck waving at us warning us of police ahead. Spent the next 10km riding at 99km/hr before we found the cop who happened to be busy with a customer at the time we went past.

Shiteload of cops around birkdale-glenfield-albany today.
    Saw about 8-10 of them.
Quite a lot of cars flashing their lights, so the system is still up and running :thumbsup

A cop with a particularly small penis told me he called it "obstruction of justice". I responded that I called it "manners". Said cop got annoyed, and was even more annoyed when I pointed out that me flashing the lights slowed people down, and surely that was the point of him patrolling.

It certainly wouldn't be revenue generation would it...
