    Holy thread-dredging Batman. I was speaking with an ex-pat in the Gold Coast last week. He told me of a rough looking bugger he used to run into on rallys from time to time and would have a chat with. He said he got a surprise when the guy told him he was a cop from Balcutha. Oh yeah says I ... "you don't remember his name do you?" He replied "Tom, I think". So then I has to tell him the story from this thread. Small world huh!

    Apart from Big Dave I only know two other ex-pats - and they ain't in Aussie!

    And who the hell refers to me as a 'rough looking bugger'? - I mean to say....

    A chap by the name of Garth who lived in Twizel at the time. Was probably riding a Harley at time and was involved in one of the salmon farms.
