Popped into our local bike shop on Saturday and ended up having a chat with one of the co-owners after Mrs Oakie spied a V Rod that took her eye. The co-owner was saying that she is actually surprised now when people wanting to take a big bike for a test ride actually have a full licence. Less than half wanting a bike over 250cc actually have the right licence. The surprising thing is that these are not kids. They are middle aged people who have had a L licence for a bike and never bothered to upgrade it.

Thanks for the welcomes. If you have a british licence you can just convert it from the 1st of september without the need of a theory test.
