What about a whinge about not riding - is that allowed?

Didn't get to ride in the weekend again (GAaaaah!!) but was all set to ride this morning, till once again #2Son ambushed me again. Not only that, but he made me late for work ("Where's my pants? Dunno if I'll have breakfast or not... My car's not registered and I've got no money till Wednesday... I need to take a dump before I go...")

Pharking yooof... They blardy stay up all night and want to sleep all day...

Oh well, at least it's a sunny day, so I can enjoy the weather while I walk across to the Postal Orofice to pay his car licencing fee...

Oh yeah - nice photos, RidingAroundPeoples.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I did a bit over 200k in the weekend - mostly around the central Waikato. Even wore my gimp suit! Heaps of bikes out - saw a couple parked having a smoke in the Walton Valley - managed to wave as I blasted past knee-down at 100km/h I even waved to the guy/girl on the GN250.......

    Yeah, nuff bitching ffs.

Open face helmets ? I collected a stone on my cage windscreen from a truck tyre on saturday. The damn thing hit us like a really loud rifle shot. What a fright! and quite sobering thinking about being hit like that while on a bike. I'm all for wearing what we choose, but fuck knows how I would have defended against that little rock - plastic visor? Cordura jacket? I think not.

"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."

Now they'll think they're real bikers.
Have you no sense of shame?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I got nicked at the bottom of the Rimutakas on Saturday night. First one for a very long time and probably well overdue.

Very pleasant gentleman, obviously knew where I was headed and didn't want to hold me up any longer than necessary. Said he'd post the bill out to me.

Even that wasn't enough to ruin a brilliant evening.

I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.

Only if your helmet fell off the seat and you had to buy a new one.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Well spotted Merv. Yes, its a long way down the Incline (whats left of it)
Its a great twisty road to the top of 'The Hill'.
I go up whenever I am in the area...birthplace of my father...have ancestors buried in the vicinity
