Not looking to flash out there, but I'll still be there unless it's really persisting down.![]()
Can't make it today. Had a stone go through the belt drive on the scooter on Sunday and well that was that as they say.
Should have it back together tonight.

steady drizzle here at the mo. tough choice really, possible wet ass and a ride or dinner with the mother in law![]()
I ended up coming home after the car park, I was not very happy with the clutch, so a quick bleed later and it seems a little better the master cylinder was full of junk, my own fault I believed the dealer that when he said he had done the job so did not get it looked at when it was in for repairs even though it was offered, no the dealer is not the repairer.
Still not to happy with the clutch, I suspect the bike may have done a lot of idling with the clutch held or my practising the low speed balance skills have stressed it, will dismantle it and have a measure up.
On another note as happened a couple of time last year we had a wee but of confusion in the carpark, different routes for different folks, with different destinations, ok in a group like last weeks I can understand that but tonight it seems a bit difficult to figure. I propose we discuss the up coming week here, work out the destinations and routes before hand, ok the dirt guys wanted to go dirt, that I can understand, however the road guys broke up into two groups and went to different places that confused the hell outta me.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
That did it for mine
That be my preferance, didn't bother going tonight as had some stuff to do and with no indication of destination there was nothing to tempt me.
What ! !! you mean I missed out on some of that actionhow many adventurous types turned up?

Agreed. It was pretty messy. Noone really knew what was going on
Well, at least I knew where I was going
But there was a lot of people who couldn't find neither Dyer's Pass nor Duvauchelles. Actually, only four people got there - and we did a couple of nice detours as well. Hooray for gravel.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Ah well, I enjoyed myself again despite the confusion. But next time it would be nice to get some food wherever we stop.Toast & 3 minute noodles at 9:30 wasn't so flash
LOL
Any one lose a rego plate, and went through the Lyttelton tunnel? Tunnel control should have it.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
This year it does seem a little messy, we should put it up before the ride so everyone knows what they are doing.
Maybe we could have a list with destinations and we can vote on here before the ride. Everyone that would like to vote does so and the place with the most votes it is.
Duvauchelles
Wheatchief
Little River
Godley House
Greta Valley
Ashley Gorge
The length of the Summit Road
And if people would like to go to a pub after the ride it can be arranged at the BK car park.
Just my 2c worth.
If the route is organised on here first we will need to be on our best behaviour during the ride.......we are not alone on here.
Of course I'm not suggesting anyone here would dream of exceeding the speed limit![]()
