[QUOTE=bart;1785882]Add one more. Hugh will also tag along on his DR650. (Actually, I think he'll be closer to the front).

That's the beauty of the cornerman system...imminent missile threats go to the back !!!

Hi Tony - enjoyed riding the DR650 back from Auckland - found the motor really tractable. Looking forward to getting getting her equipped with more like 50/50 tyres in place of the 80/20 Bridgestone OEM tyres. cheers S

Not so much me but my 07 DR 200!! It was my bike he & XRJohnny have been tuning up for this wkends Adv ride. Theory being I now wont hold up the sweeper!!! HA HA!!! Most riding Tony W (BT) has ever done on the 200 so has been able to give some excellent advise on to a keen opossum hunter!
Lamp protectors AWESOME!!! Thanks BT.Stop the gravel rooster tails from those young 'would be' MX riders on larger bikes!!! Shit my METAL tank & I hate that!!!!!

Jeez mate, bloody exotic bikes with their expensive parts
A headlight for the KTM is only $120 & that includes the 2 bulbs!

Lookin forward to the weekend, short weeks are great! Mind you that means I'd better get my act together & give the bike a service before Friday, might finally fix that electric starter too & give my leg a rest.

    Cheers

No, no, no, no don't do that Clint, I've made $15 off betting how many kicks it will take you to start the thing...Gives us something to do while we wait for you!

Looks good but i am too lazy to make 1 of those and also wonder how the headlight would work in the dark with that on.

Went to Repco and bought some Headlight Skinz for $45.00, they are a stick on 4mm soft plastic protector and because they come in packs of 2 there will by enough to do Suzi Girls DR as well.

See you all for a beer ( or 2 ) on friday night.
Here for a good time, not necessarily a long time

I've found that the number of kicks required to light up all 625ccs of high compression Austrian goodness is directly proportional to the number of people watching...

Sorry guys, I'm out for this weekend, too many trips up North in Aug, Sept and Oct. That bloody ferry crossing is getting a bit tedious. Will have to go exploring the West Coast (South) instead. Have fun up there.
