Oh man that sucks, but at least you walked away. Thank goodness for good gear tis a testament to the quality of what you had on and shows why you should wear good gear even round town.

I agree with riffer, I live litteraly round the corner from where Bull came off and it is a steep slope, probebly a 30 degree incline that actually increases at that bend.

Bull, didn't realise you were so close, should catch up for a yarn one day since it looks like ridings out for a while Shit I couldnt keep up with you anyway!!

You guys would have a bit to talk about - you being an ex army boy and him working there now.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

No doubt but surely at 35kmph there would've probably been something else contributing to the incident.

    Bugger it!

I know how chuffed you are with that bike.

Home & Contents for gear replacement.

KTL for the new bike . (Unit is probably giving you a gentle hint about what is to come)

The photos definitely don't show the slope but it's quite steep. The distance travelled is most likely due to the slope of the road going downhill.

I know the road well and its definitely possible to slide that far at that place.
I think we're on the same page, its Katman being a twat again was what I was having a poke at.

Glad to hear ATGATT held up and you are nursing only the pain of a bashed bike, just the slow process and frustration of getting the paperwork sorted out and finding what will happen to your preciousssss ...

Good work on getting piccies and reflecting on what causes contributed to your lowside, unfortunate to be a reminder to the rest of us how it can all go pearl-shaped so quickly

Mate - have you seen the size of Bull?

Ain't many people going to try too much on with him...

Glad to here you are OK there mate. What a real bummer about the bike damage. I assume you are using road attacks front & rear? I use road attack rear & sport attack front as I found that the road attack front wasn't quite sticky enough for me. I'm now getting the tired wearing more evenly too. the front & rear a getting replaced at the same time.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

Oh my god sorry to hear that mate.....

Something is not right here though... 35kmh? You sure? What kind of lean were you pulling at the time? Were you braking with front?

Gave me the chills reading this... I'm used to going into some roundabouts around here at 60kmh, i'm sure i'm going to feel really dodgy about doing that next time...
