Goodness me. What about words like Ass, Roger, Bosom, Snatch, Crutch, Tit, Willy, etc, etc, ad nauseum that aren't in themselves "swear words" or indeed intrinsically rude?

In essence people are probably only concerned about the inimitable F and C words but I would rail against even having a "filter" for those on the grounds of wordism: discrimination against something for no other reason than it may cause the feeble minded to take offence.

For heaven's sake people, get over it!

I was only offering a suggestion to help those that are concerned. I'm quite happy to read "cuntity cunt fuck" and such like. I am in a trade, if I fainted at the sound of a swear I'd get so much beauty sleep I'd be gorgeous.

I'm quite offended by Willy. That would be worth an infraction.

Those with experience of such filters will know that the results often swing wildly from hilarious to infuriating. The councillors of the town of SCENSOREDhorpe are the classic example. I am almost sure that Mr Spsankme tried it at one point with predictable results. The experiment was of short duration, though while it lasted it offered an interesting intellectual challenge. (Two, actually - to see who would sneak through the most objectionable phrase, masked by subtle letter changes; and to find the most inoffensive phrase that would be censored out)

I am not aware that KB has ever claimed to be a suitable milieu for those of tender years or refined sensibilities. It is a biker site. We are, by and large, a rough , uncouth and unlettered lot, in the habit of expressing ourselves in a robust Anglo-Saxon vernacular. Fie, and away with your fancy Norman French sensibilities.

There are a variety of 'Net Nanny' programs available that can be used by those who wish to, or need to, remove words they deem objectionable.

The sheer innuendo and metaphorical allusions to issues of lewdness and crass interpretations is one of the gems of this site!

"... milk, milk, lemonade ... around the corner, fudge is made!"

The twunt cuckers, mudda fwinckers, aioliholes and badastereos and various spelling options always brings a snurkle to my face!
"I like to ride anyplace, anywhere, any time, any way!"

I'll get back to you in January once I've lost some of my current points.

One of the reasons I migrated to KB from SVrider was the fact that the censorship is so much more liberal....not to mention all the other advantages, (like actually FINDING KB) but that WAS a factor......SVrider was all sooooooo polite it made ya wanna SPEW.......gimme genuine kiwi argot any day......

Besides, I have Tourette Syndrome, so that's my fuckin' excuse.......

Nice signature! I thought I had sand flies crawling on my screen last night. I was rather tired though.

I must say you raise a valid point and it's one I've never considered. I'm a fucken shocker when it comes to swearing inappropriately, but that’s just me. I will however make a concerted effort to not do it in thread titles from.............................................. .........................................Now!

I've noticed the four letter swear word gets used quite a bit. This I think, is due to the ease of spelling it... bit of a buggar that ...EH !!!

It's a fucking bikers site. The only fuckers that swear more than fucking bikers are rug munching bulldykes. For fuck's sake.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
