You miss a few rides and everyone gets all flash on you!

Couse notes and distances etc. Sounds like you all know what you are talking about.

Getting all technical again Mister Koz!!! Not on the USS Enterprise now!!

Good idea drinks and meal. I could suggest the Te Rapa Tavern as they do pretty good pub grub, 30+TV's with all the sports channels, TAB and Pokie machines!!!

For those out of town or interested I could to a Room and Breakfast for 2 at the Hotel for $69 or $55 for single person. Saves drinking and driving and if we did it on a Saturday night we could leave in the morning for a good run.

Just an idea???? Otherwise more than keen for some bevvies anytime/anyplace

Great ride yesterday and lots of fun. Thanks Dave & Krissie top notch effort!!!

agreed, i dont think there is anything more annoying than trying to get info from a sales guy who has no idea what your talking about..

"yes hello sales person i would like to buy a mp3 player" "no we dont sell those but we do have this nice ipod"

    WTF

When everyone else confirms i will see if i can get the course notes and maps photocoppied or something, they both turned out to be useful

The whole route is around 200km long. Petrol available at Otorohanga or Te Awamutu. Coffee at Pirongia or Otorohanga or Te Awamutu. Not a lot between leaving Kihikihi and arriving at Leamington. I can do the whole run on 2/3 of a tank of gas.

    Route notes as follows:

North up SH1 to Ngaruawahia. Left onto SH39 at BP or can go L through Saulbrey Road to avoid roadworks just south Of Ngaruawahia.
South on 39 to Whatawhata. South on 39 to Pirongia. South again towards Otorohanga. Optional deviation (worth it) R onto Ngutunui Road (towards Kawhia) to intersect with SH31. Left here, follow valley back to SH39 and on to Otorohanga.
From Otorohanga follow Ouruwhero Road/Pokuru Road to Te Awamutu. Ouruwhero Rd is accessed by going Left at the North end of Otorohanga's main drag - kind of opposite the Mobil station - you go left when you reach the hill - main road goes to the right around the hill - we go left.
At Te Awamutu go R on Bank road and join SH3. South to Kihikihi. Left onto Arapuni Road, through Parawera and Pukeatua and beyond.
Bear left onto Oreipunga Road. (If you get to Arapuni Dam you have missed this......) Follow this through Horahora and Maungatautari villages and on to Leamington. Return to Hamilton either SH1 or Kaipaki Road.........

I was thinking of a meal and some beers at the cock and bull in a few weeks depends what everyone wants to do
