Which also means I have absolutely no idea yet how grunty this bike really is. What I do know is that just a little blip on the throttle was all that was needed yesterday to dispose very quickly of two cars which were holding me up on the Coast Road. Incredible. That just doesn't happen on a little commuter 250....

OK, OK, it's a big step up from the Scorpio, enough already!

How many K's have you got on it now?

    Here's a video I found off Pistonheads...

It's in some weird foreign language but if you concentrate really hard it occasionally makes sense

    Nope, not yet.
But then I have been really careful. It has given me a few scary moments when I was just going a little faster than I thought but nothing too serious.
    It's exhillarating.

Only 300 kays so far. I am trying not to ride it to much. Only 2 weeks to go before I sit my full license so just need to be a little patient a little while longer. Then I can insure the bike and ride it without needing to worry about getting pulled over.
In the meantime I am amusing myself by making such things as a radiator guard. Couldn't bring myself to spend a small fortune on one like yours. Sixty bucks of materials is enough to make two of them.
Thinking of making my own crash knobs as well. The raw materials are pretty cheap, I have access to mills and lathes, and it will be a fun little project over the next two weeks or so.
Cheers for the link to that video.

Anyone know if there are any of these left anywhere? Damn I want one!

That radiator guard looks very professional

I'm going to get some of these tank grips...

Unfortunately you can't buy them straight off the US website because there's an Oz distributor... who still hasn't replied to my email...even though I sent it hours ago I like my instant internet gratification

Looks like the 2008's are getting pretty thin on the ground. Here's a tasty low K one in the best colour... not that I'm biased or anything.

I didn't think they'd got them specifically for our model. I'll have to think about that... pretty they aren't... maybe they wouldn't show up so much in black...

Too hard so I'm off for a blat over the Paekark Hill

Nice ride, rubber side down. Don't forget insurance and f**k her in properly.
