Hmmm were we at the same school???
Sounds very much like what I went through at school until I stood up to the bully.

I got in a scrap when I was about 10 with this boy, it was a full on fist fight. I think I won, if you can ever really figure out the winner and the loser in a schoolyard fight, that is.

Nuthin wrong with a bit of biffo... lets u know ur alive.

Come to a country where most have grown up up without even witnessing a fight let alone being in one. You'll be amazed with the arrogance and inconsideration... The agressiveness is still there, it just comes out when behind the wheel or standing in a cue... and what do they care, they have no fear, it's not like anyone has the balls to put them on their arse where they belong... God help us if NZ ever follows in these steps.
It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,
    everything is fucked, everybody sucks,
You don't really know why but you wanna justify ripping someone's head off

There were two of them and I still recall their faces and their names. They were best buddies and when they got bored they came looking for me. Actually, I might do some research and see if I can locate them; that could be fun......

I got a twack during a break at school...this dude came up to me and grabbed by the scruff, took be behing the Gym (thought I was going to get arsed fucked) and said '' my girlfriend has dropped me because she likes you''. I told a mate to go get Phil or Grant (two of the bigger lads at school who were freinds of mine) but by the time they arrived it was all over. I had a ringing ear for a while, packed a sad and went home.

Can't help but agree. I went through a stage a few years ago where my temper got the better of me, but looking back I still think those I biffed (not many) desperately deserved it. Still (to quote J.Collins) not a good look tho'.

Thrown two punches in my life (both while at school). The result of the first one was that the bully hit me back and left me with three stitches above my eye but he never bullied me again. The result of the second one was a return smack in the head for me and that guy never hassled me again either.

Ahhh, life was so simple then!

    Teacher V Student

A teacher had a go at me once, Mr Matthews, long story but he sent me outside his class with a table and chair for some reason known only to him. I had a borrowed book (from a mate) cos I left mine in my locker? dunno, anyway, Matthews was looking threw the book and saw a drawing of a penis (this was a maths book) and asked me what it was, I said its a mushroom Sir. Then he saw the words ...'Matthews is a wank' jotted on the back page. Whatever credance I had at that point, had now gone. He lifted me out of the seat and asked'' what would you do if I hit ya''?
I said ''I would probably go home soon after''...with a closed fist, he hit the locker that I was leaning on right beside my head, I pushed him out of the way and fucked off.
The next day, in the principles office, He denied the event ever took place, but I was shifted out of his class and put in a class by myself, yes there were no other puplis but me, that last a day or two, then I stopped going, I wagged that period, god school was great!!!

that thing about watching fights on youtube or whatever: you can see why there arent often people hurt. They participants have NO IDEA: just random flailings and rolling round on the ground. they might as well be having the secks.

Seeing two people who know what they're doing is a whole other thing. (secks or fiighting...)

I was only ever in one fight at school, the rest of them were just hidings. I was bullied unmercifully at school. I had the shit kicked out of me at school then I'd go home and get a hiding from the old man for getting into trouble at school. Yep it did all build up to the point where I put a 3rd form guy in hospital (I was 6th form.) Not proud of that. I have been in a few scraps since then (I was an angry young man) but I'm happy now and don't have to prove nothing to nobody.

Apparently I'm a fairly big guy now (big Dave is bigger as are a few others) and I apparently intimidate people by my size - 6'4" & 115kgs.I'm accused of being a thug and a bully which is based solely on visual perception of me. I don't do it on purpose or intentionally bully people but I'm accused of it all the time. Yes, I do fiercely protect people I care about but I don't instigate things.

Fighting is something that you should do only if there is no other option. What did Kenny Rogers sing? "Sometimes you have to fight to be a man" on the other hand an old saying is "The best fights I've won, were by 100 metres or more"
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them
