wow.. and i thought this thread was about a noob ride.....

well, i might bring a mate along, and with the other rides i've been too, we wont have a problem if everyone rides to the government imposed restrictions set by the government we as a country voted for.....
as with most.. i voted for the other guy....
see you sunday if its sunny!

Wow! devoting 6 cars to follow a bunch of newbies (like myself)?? I say it's a privilege! Considering the amount of violent crimes at the moment.

If this turned out to be the case on the day, we should get evidence like video, etc., then put it up to the media - imagine the headline "Police Wasted Resources on Learners, Crime Wave Hits New Zealand" blah blah blah... and let the opposition parties do its work.

Regarding 70k limit for learners, it's a joke!!! I'm just glad I got my restricted few weeks ago. WarlockNZ, I'll sign whatever petition you have up your sleeves!
in order to appreciate a good steak, you should eat the occasional greasy hamburger.

Theres no need to get all dramatic about human rights etc etc....dont forget about the trees, they're living too and have riights...Join GREENPEACE everyone and save a whale.

The main problem is the safety issues that arise when travelling at 70 (or 79)km/hr on roads shared with cars travelling between 90 and 109km/hr....Thats why i think the rule is such a joke.

    Peace guys

I'll be there if weather is good, this duck don't like the wet

We're out for a social, not to do illegal street racing or terrorise the ? suburb. The cops can line the streets for all I care.

70kph doesn't worry me too much as being over 25 = 6 mths on a learners but those under 25 = 18 mths that just sucks

Petitions don't work, especially with the current croanies they are too busy trying to dodge paying back illegal election spending

Clogging a motorway with learner bike riders doing 70kph would get their attention. Get enough of them and give them writers cramp

Anyone thought about contacting a paper and drop them a line that the cops maybe planning something along these lines. If they do show in force they will look like complete idiots.......

I can see the headline now

"Helen Clark will repay election spending by busting a learner bike ride"

Correct me if I'm wrong but with just us meeting at Botany can be classed as an illegal gathering can't it?

according to the law ... more then 3 people can be classed as an illegal gathering .. depends on the cop in question ... but yeah .. any more than 3 is assembly and they can invoke the law with regard to illegal assembly.
