haha thankfully that is a pisstake. I for one know that i am not a soft cock, and therefore prolonged sessions of 'high pace' riding do not make my knees, neck or wrists sore, i have no chicken strips on my tires and i now have scrapes on my knee sliders too!
I for one have always been a competitor, not a poser, i prefer to struggle to be the best, the first, the winner... thats why i do sports. And probably why i ride a sports bike, i take my competition to the track and muscle it out there, or push myself i a little on the road as the scenery goes past in a blur. Sometimes i even video it so i can come home and watch it in 'slow-mo' to see what i missed.
I prefer the leant forward stance, coupled with my high-tech suspension and leading edge high revving engine performance, to sitting back, riding like a nanna taking in every last petal, bud and bee that the roadside lets me see, while my oversized, underpowered v-twin vibrates my balls to make up for what my missus (or gay-partner) couldnt give me in the sack.
Each to their own, im an adrenalin junky and like the rush and the buzz that speed and fast cornering give me. If i wanted to see the scenery i'll stop or i'll take the cage. If its sheepskin seats, tassles and lattes that do it for you please do it on your own time and not in public!

To me, sprotsbikers seem as sad as crusiers, and vice versa. Both conformist and obsessed with appearances.
The most common phrases from both are along the lines of "pig ugly" "looks cool" etc etc. What does it matter what a bike looks like?
The purpose of a motorcycle is to get from point A to point B. Different folks will have different ideas of how the journey should be; as fast as humanly possible (sportsbike); comfortably (crusiers); as far as possible (tourer). But in no case does the appearance of a bike in any way have any bearing on its ability to perform its task. So why all the talk about appearances?
