Sorry to hear mate, you heal up soon
To every man upon this earth
Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
Mondo sympathy dude, I got monstered in Lower Hutt not long after I bought my bike. Makes you feel like shit huh?
I think since we are much more vunerable we should be given legal right to carry out corporal punnishment on drivers like that!

Not good to hear, I have admired that bike as I passed Cuba Street going down Ghuznee several times. I would err on the side of caution & check your legal position before making an insurance claim, following at a distance too short to stop etc etc. Sometimes (98%) the law is an ASS.
Well, whats happening?? anymore details? Is it going to go to court? If it does go to cort PLEASE post up the date and time its gonna happen. I for one will be there to have words with him! I'm getting really sick of this shit!!

The most sensible suggestion I've heard yet. If this does go to court then I doubt the Judge will hand out a slap on the wrist if there is a large group of well presented bikers holding helmets expressing their disgust with this gentlemen.
I'm sure something like this would also attract media attention with minimal organisation, Intense you just need to ensure you keep people up to date.
Hope all bruises are healing and that your bike will be revived to full health and former glory.
I got taken down a few months ago now on my Kawasaki GPX600 by a guy pulling out in front of me. He was good about it and his insurance paid all. My bike was totalled but I managed to "jump off" before the impact and did not suffer. But what a hassle to get the bike taken away, insurance estimates and wheeling and dealing and 6 weeks later you get a check. But then I had to replace the bike and the bike marked was high as nice weather was on the way and fuel prices high. I am though happy with my gsx600f.
So.... Good luck and may it all go smoothly with the insurance. I hope he gets his day in court and PLEAASE keep us up to date with developments.

I understand all of this "put up and shut up" business and that we're in a vulnerable position on a bike, but that doesn't give anyone the right to do sh#t like this. It's absolutely disgusting.
I hope you have better luck getting your wanker charged than I did. Good luck with getting your bike fixed too. It's a frustrating process

If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

Very sad to hear it mate, hopefully your story will help others to avoid similar situations.
Sorry to hear about your bike, CBR f4 is my favourite one and just hearing of it been crashed makes my heart bleed![]()
Yeah, sorry about what happened... do keep us in the loop... Would be happy to make an appearance in court for the support.

Bummer. Theres some scary people out there. I recently had to report one to the police, pretty much did the same thing - swerved over to try and hit me then drove in front of me and slammed his brakes on in the middle of a major intersection ( im in the car). Reason 4 his road rage :was I was doing 100kmph on the motorway, he was tailgating me trying to get me to go faster ...but I wouldn't....then when he came up to me on the off ramp I mouthed abuse and gave the guy the fingers etc....well.....I will never do that again. It triggered a response which turned him into a road rage maniac
The police said there are a few of these sorts of people around.
My lesson....just ignore....hard as it is. But worse on a bike as we are more vulnerable to these neanderthals

Was there more than 1 lane? and were you on the right lane?
Not that it justifies the road rage, however, I've come up behind a fair few people doing 100 or even under on the motorway (more than 1 lane), who've refused to budge, both in a cage and on the bike. I usually just switch to the left lane, then later switch back to the right lane (not passing). But really, would it so difficult moving over when someone driving / riding faster is coming up behind them? Lots of people seem to manage it fine, just some who have a misplaced sense of justice or something...
