PM or call me if you are interested in becoming a westie. You will however need a few things, like black shorts, a black singlet, jandals and a Holden to make a complete transformation.
CaN - What a awesome offer........ To help get them throu the christmas period... until they can find somewhere where they want to live.

The Warehouse sells the black shorts, black singlets and jandels real cheap....
We have even got a few Holden car sales yards out west.

Dover and Vixter - All the best in relocating yet again. School holidays are coming up so Mac wont be at school for at least 6 weeks.

Ahh! Maybe for the private sector there is financial appreciation of the higher cost of living up Auckland way, however in a Govt job like mine it's "one size fits all" salary- so imagine how much further my salary goes down here in the boondocks - and what lifestyle I have.

wanna give me a job as a pig then?

I can drive fast with the lights on and with a little training could become rather adept at nightsticking coloured folks. (do you have them down your way??)

Nah - it's like back home down there - the lowest socio-economic group is white.

No, we don't 'do' nightsticks down here and we don't got no coloured folk - well not the drop-kick wannabe ganstas and mobsters etc -it's hard to look tough in a black singlet at 3am when it's pissing down and the temp is 2 degrees) but paint youself 'coloured' and you could come down here as a token one.

I'd say the most likely thing resulting from you getting a little training is that you wouldn't shit on the kitchen floor anymore!!

I'm willing to bet money that this is BULLSHIT on the landlords part. Reason is the only way a landlord can give you less than 3 months notice to move out is if they say they want to move back in, once they use that as an excuse they can give you 6 weeks notice.

Had the exact same thing happen to me 3 years ago. Owner from overseas wanted to move in, we got 6 weeks notice and had to move out the week of christmas. Found an awesome place but it is stressful to do with christmas on the horizon. As it turned out landlord once we were gone sold the house so whole story was a crock!

Dover move out West, cheaper rent, some pretty good houses and areas to choose from and easy as commute on a bike to City
