Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
Auckland KB's, please see 'Hells Pizza' thread.........sorry to pinch this thread for an advert........
I haven't been here for months. been without a bike for 18 months...I remember these guys and their posts on these forums and watching them ride on a Coro loop mission and all I can say is...
Heart felt condolences to freinds & family from a guy about to get back in the saddle.
RIP boys. I havnt met too many people on KB, but Bruce was one of the few. Friendly guy who didnt hesitate to help a stranger.
Has anyone seen my baffles?
Oh god, what terrible terrible news. My heart goes out to Bruce and Daryl's loved ones and family and to those on the fateful ride. Will be thinking of you all and sharing in your grief.
I never got the opportunity to meet Bruce but enjoyed reading his posts about racing and the shenanigans he got up to. I met Daryl on the ride down to Taupo for the first KB track day. He was good enough to go out of his way to give some tips and advice to a very nervous and underconfident track newbie. I'll always remember his kindness that day. Rest in Peace KB Brothers.
It's all fun and games until someone loses a hymen
A few days ago Bruce wrote this to me. I never will see him round now.
As with many others I am in deep shock. I knew Bruce and Darryl through racing and track days. Both were great blokes and fantastic riders. I was sad when they both decided to reduce their racing as that meant I wouldn't see them so often. No I am deeply saddened by the fact that I will NEVER see them at the race track again.
To lose both of them after they crash into each other is beyond ironic tragedy.
It has been a rough week, with Paul crashing badly at Puke and suffering permanent damage and now Bruce and Darryl. Plus I see also another KB brother further south also died over the weekend.
May all 3 of these KB riders rest in peace.
