Very impressed with the turnout folks, thank you to all who came.. was a great meeting!

I got to practice making skidmarks with my rear tyre too

So pleased it went so well!

Any thoughts for changes (if any) for next month?

Sounds like everyone had a great time, I think next time it's around I'll brave the motorway and sneak over there to get my learnin' on!

Good to hear it was a happy success, congrats all! And much love to mentors!

Thank you to everyone who turned up.
I had a good time, and it is funny how much you catch yourself out doing when you are trying to critique someone else.

Thank you to the experienced hands for taking the time to share the knowledge you spent years earning.

Thank you to all the rookies who took the time to swallow their pride and open their minds to what was on offer. We are all rookies to someone and it takes guts to say I don't know I need help.

Also good effort with keeping ego's in check and riding your own ride. It was nice not having a group ride turn into a race.

    Cool

One tip for ALL newbies to remember.... well ok for any rider.

Keep your visor down when riding... even at slower speeds.

You know it aint nice to have the biggest humungous bug get a bullseye in your eyeball... damn it still hurts..

A good turn out and I reckon lots was learnt.....
    Everyone did very well....

Cheers MDU for the wedges..... they were yummy..
Cheers Julie for the coke... I managed to not loose mine off the table.. aye Frosty.

So you all know what you have to do now...

    PRACTISE, PRACTISE and PRACTISE...............

    On a serious note
I think we found the perfect carpark for the braking session
I guess it depends if we want to make it a structured deal or
just keep it free and easy
I think the carpark as a meetup/departure point is perfect--less traffic pressure
Id also hate for it to turn into a group ride -I think 1 on 1 is the best bet for a newbee

I think this is a good idea as to do LOTS more practice in the car park I still have not got it anywhere near right, like someone said to me it is easy to do the throttle, saving yourself well thats what we have to learn even learning safest wayto fall would be useful

That was my dinner you ruthlessly pounded into the tarmac! You were supposed to show them how to BRAKE - thus AVOIDING crushing the choc bar! Not plow relentlessly on and crush it to a smear beneath your juggernaut wheels of doom! That choc bar might have been an old lady, say like Crashe.
