Well after my new found confidence with Auckland CBD, a slight 'woops I stood in some crap' moment with audio embedding...

I was thinking about seeing who would be keen to actually follow me on a ride one day?

Im no geography teacher... heck I didnt even get my orienteering badge in scouts! hehe

So I thought it would be a laugh? see where we end up!

As Crashe put it so elegently... "the blind leading the blind"

So whos keen to get lost one day then?

I am happy to do this with you.....

We meet up and give you a place to find.......
We follow you with a full tank of gas. (well will need it with you leading us)

Then at the end......... if you find the place.

We go back to the start and show you the quickest route to it.
Cos I can guarantee there will be a quicker route.

Yikes someone stole some art stuff from Auckland University.......

And we three were walking around the uni at night time.

Oh yeah the security guards were all together standing around talking to each other.... not out there patroling the grounds......

Shall we three go and fess up.........

well the other two went off by themselves for a while...... and I was left alone near the security guards....... hmmmmmmmmmm I wonder what those two go up to.....?????????

That is how almost all of my rides are done. Just tottle out in a vague general direction, and take the first (or second, or third) interesting looking road, keep just randomly turning onto new roads, or generally head toward some distant mountain.With a vague impression that one might like to end up in Xville, though one very seldom does.

'tis amazing where one ends up.

Fortunately, as I have noted in this thread, I have an excellent sense of direction, so I never actually get lost.
