An Aprillia might be my next one. Some great reports.
Noticed the bling on the K3. Ohlins front end as well? (Forks, springs and shims?) or stock

Ohlins steering damper as well but found that if you set up the front correctly on the stock forks with 5W oil they gave a good ride for what I like a fork to feel like . Not a track racer so more than enough with the other well set up stuff . Top gear like White power / Ohlins is only really good over 140ks to be noticed for its real advantage .

Hehe....it's the law of the cheque book. If you can afford it, buy it. If I had to 'deserve' a bike I'd be riding a Ural!
Not to worry, I took the KTM LC4 down to the Testing Station to get it re-VINned (I'm getting paranoid riding around with no plate!) so I'll have some wheels while Sensei is working his magic on the Aprilia.

Hmmmm...I wonder if there are any teeth on the KTM sprocket? I find "She'll be right, mate" usually works.......

I didn't buy it to look pretty, it's my sunny day hoon bike. I got it at a reasonable price, so I'm not really surprised it's got a few things wrong with it. It's an ex. Japan import, and with the trick bits, I'd hazard a guess at it being someones track day bike.

If it was a baby, it'd be one of the Kahui twins.

It seemed like a good deal at the time....bye-bye wife, hello Aprilia.

After seeing the mess it's in, I'm glad Sensei comandeered it from me. If I'd kept riding it, I can just imagine a chain wrapped around the front sprocket with broken engine parts!

I think I'm going to have to promise to change my ways before he gives it back.(If he gives it back!)

Iv'e been let down in the past by Italian bikes and their 'pasta' internals (Ducati Darmah & Guzzi Daytona), so I decided to treat this one like a Jappa....oil & tires only. I guess I was wrong again.

Once it's all back together, looking sweet and handling nicely (I hadn't played with the suspension either....) it will be Dazza's turn for a ride. It was him that corrupted me by letting me go for a ride on his Aprilia a few years back.
    Bastard........
