R U going home via Haast. I was gonna go to Dunners for the HOG club meeting and ride on Sunday but woodstock appeals. Weather might be OK as well.

I've no idea where we may be staying, Crissy-Bimbo and I play it by ear, i.e. not much planning, IF the weather is good and we get away in time we may stay at the Makarora cabins (I think they still exist) but other than that we've no real plan.Originally Posted by hondav2
Yup, the hairy BMW guy is the one and same from Tahakopa which is not far from Papatowai.
Our return trip is semi-planned for via the centre of the island (Twizel etc) but if the weather is good on the Coast we might consider returning that way.

Great to hear the interest. in short the weather is gonna be awesome - a big high which will give blue ski days on the coast until at least tuesday next week... now you simply cannot beat those west coast road if you get a riding gift like that.
Been at the pub all night with the club members, the site is ready to go, all the amenities are up - live bands are ready and the interest has been HUGE, this will be the best and biggest rally we have hosted in the last three years running.
Looking forward to seeing all you Kb'ers there, scumdog from down south, dangerous and his troop from chch and it would be cool to see some representation from down fiordland way - 50 are riding up from invercargill.
CU all at the rally - going over there tomorrow avo to finish the final prep and settle in for a 48hr club party
Havn't got a KB shirt so i will throw on me Aprillia Racing one - say gidday
