    WTB: V4 sports bike - NC30 or NC35, maybe cbr600 '02 or newer

    FOUND ONE

SO, some bastard nicked my NC30

yet to find out how much i've got to spend, but i'm already looking at NC30 and NC35

An NC35 chassis with NC30 motor would be mint. mileage not a worry as long as the motor runs well.

Fibreglass fairing preferred*, no major missing parts, straight chassis/forks, working brakes and strong motor - i'm not looking for a major project here, and get very annoyed when I travel 100km to view a "mint" bike with gravel rash and only 3 working cylinders (may still buy, but tell me first or i won't buy on principle)

need this asap to get to uni - currently borrowing old man's bike and he's complaining his commute went from 30minutes+$20petrol to 90minutes+$150petrol a week

    cheers

*when my bike got nicked i had just got all the gear together to repaint it and currently have 1.5 sets of plastic farings for NC30 plus two spare tanks

not sure if this is in your price or not but i have viewed this bike and the engine is fine, the Honda shop down here is selling it. It needs some new fairings possibly, triple clamp, and a few other bits and pieces. Would not be too hard of a project.

good engine? that's good to know

i've shelved that one for the time being as i can't go down to view any time soon:

as it's an NC35 i don't have any spares. i need to be able to ride it immediately, so hunting down parts for a relatively rare bike isn't going to work. i assume the forks damaged if rim/mudguard damged. repairable or not i can't tell till i see it. fairings aren't fitting properly so are the mounts/subframe intact? will it need compliance to get back on road?

i will as soon as i know myself

covered for $5k, dunno what i'll actually get due to cosmetic damage to my near new paintjob, then minus excess, then add a student's "savings" (available debt)

I think it would need compliance. The forks didnt look bent, but who knows.. could possibly be straightened. Not entirely sure about subframe etc. I remember one radiator mount was broken tho.

Easy tiger...some demons live in these

I'm still trying to find a local engine..got bits & professional extras for miles out of NZD but the cost of import is merder

    Where you get this one?

My current was serviced & sold out of Red Baron ..Auck, and some mechanic in that shop had apparently put the rocker cover on backwards..well thats what I've been told by "the man" servicing her in Welli.
If I had a GF I'd like only ride 5 times a week!

70 at the wheel is a big jump for the mods you've done. if it is so well done but always a little bit sus on big claims.
