Cruise up SH16 Sunday 19 June

If the weather's not too shitty tomorrow I'm cruising up SH16 at least as far as Wellsford, possibly Mangawhai or Waipu depending on conditions. Usual sedate pace. Leaving Westgate 9:45. Any company welcome, but will ride on my own if you buggers are all too lazy or hung-over.

Zed, I suppose your immortal soul will be in peril if you don't go to church tomorrow???

hey Mike, can't make the ride, but In the unlikley event of a brake down, I will be in the area later in morning in a new long wheel base transit van(mt) will chuck some tie downs in just in case, you would be welcome to call if you need a bike moving somewhere. 021 304 310

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

Good ride despite missing Mike at Westgate. Caught up at Wellsford.

Roads were a little wet but it didn't rain except for part of the way back from Mangawhai. Made a good choice choosing Cordura today.

Met up with Devil and Paco on the way back down SH16. No incidents.

Thanks for the company, guys. A very pleasant ride up, and nice lunch at Mangawhai. The rain at Mangawhai made me glad I had the cordura and not the new leather jacket, but it didn't last that long.

Mike, you should know by now that I don't believe that! God gives us all a free will to exercise...anyway I have an excuse - I didn't see this thread until now!!

Glad you had a good ride, weather was quite an improvement on yesterdays shambles.

Just winding you up, Matt... You should know that I don't mean half what I say. It's deciding which half that's the problem...

Anyway, we did have a good ride, though not as good as last weekend - the roads were a bit wet and greasy at times.
