That was CrazyLittleShit on the Silver 636. I think his last run was ok.

Someone else did it twice in a row - must have thought the first trap was the end.

Badlieutenant: I'm not actually in the photo with the "ghost helmet". That photo was taken after lunch, after I'd gone. But the guy to the left (ie the lady's right) of the lady writing the times is Ron someone or other, not sure where he came from. He was a Ulysses guy. Nice bloke.

Mark on the yellow GSXR1000K4 buttoned off early in his flying runs, we think he didn't know where the finish line was.

Re my commentary: at riders briefing some of the spectators said "can you please let us know who's going to be coming through each time because we want to video/take photos of our mates" so I thought I'd take it one step further!

LB - does that include giving one of the Coils (?) a hard time about dropping his bike and getting a replacement Tiger?

It wasn't Peter/Joe Coyle who wrote off their Tiger, it was Neil, another of the RAT guys.

    Good stuff.

Good drills to Deano scoring joint fastest standing 1/4.

Pretty happy with the performance of the 600. Up there with the 1000's. Wait till I get my hands on the 06 750

LOL! I think they were being silly buggers when they came up with that number.

    400(m) / 10.47 (sec) = 38.204393505 metres per second

    Which is 137.53 KM/h . (Or 12 on the Beaufort scale.. ;-) )

That speedo was reading about 11 high, I think I saw an indicated 149. That was in 4th gear. My carbs were so screwed that I couldn't go faster in 5th, hence the other slower times.

Ridiculous muffler has been fitted, carbs are being fixed, new +3 jets are in, clutchless upshifts practised..

All going to plan, I think I get an extra 10 km/h at the next meet. And I think the muffler has already given me that, as it pulls harder than it used to as the revs go up.

Me thinks that they have got their times wrong for me. Still happy with the flying as there was a head wind and it was warmer as well. Interesting how the first run seems to be the quickest.

    Roll on November
