It seems that the threat exists in most nuclear nations - either from thieves or political changes - but I also think it is fair to recognise that NK is a current and completely unpredictable threat.

SEOUL, South Korea (AP)-- North Korea's official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported Monday the country has performed a successful nuclear test.

According to KCNA, there was no radioactive leakage from the site.
South Korean officials could not immediately confirm the Yonhap report.

North Korea accused rival South Korea on Monday of committing a serious provocation by firing warning shots during a weekend incident in which the South says soldiers from the communist North crossed over their border.
The border shooting came Saturday. South Korean soldiers rattled off about 40 warning shots after a group of five North Korean troops crossed into the southern side of the no-man's-land separating the divided Korean peninsula, South Korea said.
No one was hurt in the incident.

I was raised on the "one warning - wham" system.

Don't eat those biscuits... then if you did it again - "smack" - no extra warning given, but an explanation of why you were smacked.

North Korea. Dismantle your nuke facilities before then end of the week or we start to level them....

Strangely enough I just watched the new Behind Enemy Lines 2: Axis of Evil movie, and its all about NK and nukes.

Damn you ask some stupid questions. Movie was a bit of bollox along the lines of the thousands of rounds of ammo the seal team must of had...... but involved a nuke deep in NK being deep 6ed by the merikans

If I was NK I wouldn't be worried about GWB.

I'd be shitting myself about the fact that Japan and China concluded their first successful joint summit in 15 years and both agreed to strongly object to NK testing nukes and intercede when they feel they need to. Japan has its first PM born after WWII. He's not carrying the baggage that all the previous post-war Japanese political leaders have.

The Japanese Navy is fairly damn potent now, much better equipped than China's.

Combine that with a red wave of Chinese troops from the Nth and we'll have cheap Korean prostitutes in Tokyo before Christmas.

There's a fair few rounds flying across the 49th parallel too.
