    88 GSXR250 = 89 GSXR250??

Im looking at getting a whole parts bike to get bits for my bike, but the parts bike will be an 89 and mines an 88. Is there any difference between these models? and if so, is it anything major?

    Cheers

Don't know, but for what it's worth my gixxer is import 1989 = NZ new 1991
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Hi, I just completed putting a GSXR250CK from 2.5 wrecked bikes. Gettiing it VIN and WOF tomorrow. Quite a lot of parts left behind if you are interested. For sale at a good (meaning cheap) price although it cost me an arm and leg for the parts that I need, haven't got and and have to get from the wreckers. Send me an email at membakut2002@yahoo.co.nz.

Got a pdf copy of the workshop manual for GSX-R250. Email me if anybody want a copy - membakut2002@yahoo.co.nz
Got my bike VIN, registered and insured last friday. Except for the headlights pointing towards the sky, it passed with flying colours. Took it for a spin on the same day. It is not too bad for a 250, pretty niffty over 9000+ rpm.
