Sketchy owned my FXR before me and made these mounts out of 10mm alloy, cheap as chips, strong as and the have been made so thr pegs are 15mm higher than standard.

Attached are my photos, there a bit ruff but I like to call them mk1 (I doubt mk2 will ever be built unless I break these).

No reason why you couldnt make them out of timber

That's a very cool exhaust you got there...

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Chances are if you have the tools to make them out of wood: you will prob have the tools to make them out of 8-10mm alloy. if you have an electric jigsaw just buy a couple course metal blades (~$5 from bunnings) and your away laughing, just go slow.

Hey man I'm sorted for a rider if my guy doesnt pull out on me.
I'm not even sure if I'm going to be able to race, I'm having trouble sorting the forks.

I've got a hand saw that should do the job, and I think I may have found some alloy that will do the trick.

I've got some peg mounts ready to go. I had some cut out with a water jet and got some extras made at the same time. They're 10 or 12 mm thick and light as.

They cost me $30 each and you can have some for that if you're interested. They must be damned near indestructable because the bikes been on it's side a couple of times (can't remember the exact number) and they're still in prefect condition.

I could post a photo on here once I can figure out how
