    Yamaha dt175?

hi me and a few m8s just purchased this bike and are inquiring in what year it is
i havent seen it yet but will add to this when i find engine number/frame numbers etc
    it was 100 bucks
have been told the bike needs the wiring loom and some electrical parts , all included !!!
put it all back together and
the motor has excellent compression and kicks over freely

Yes,mid to late '70's...looks pretty good for $100.I'll give you $105,cash.That motor is still made today in the AG100.The left side of the engine looks very strange to me,it should just have a flywheel mag, lighting coil etc.The very first (like 1969) AT1 had a starterator - DC generator and starter combined.I'll be interested to see what it is there.
