Smile My ZZR is un-ducked and back on the road!

My original tale of woe is here: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...hlight=duck%21

Today i got the final part of my ZZR sorted - a nice new screen is on it's way to me. I spent the weekend reassembling the bike after getting fairings sorted, plastic welded, painted and decals made - and I'm OVER THE FRICKIN' MOON happy with the resuts!

Didn't even turn out to be that bad of a hit in the wallet either, mainly cos I called in some favours and did as much as I could myself.....and since I have a terminal case of optimism I viewed the whole thing as a "could have been much worse" experience! Plus it gave me a good opportunity to do a fair few maintennence tasks that are only possible with fairings off, so the beast should run sweeter now too!

If anyone needs plastic welding, painting, screens, or other such repairs I can recommend a few places now!

I'm just happy to be out and about on the bike again, so if you're in the area wave like a crazy person at the guy on the bright red ZZR...and ignore my paranoid glances skyward...just checking for more damn ducks!

That looks really good in red. Perhaps you should get a little duck sticker to put on your screen like a fighter pilot kill marking. (Sorry that's probably slightly immature).

Could always have the 'no duck' as your avatar but then you wouldn't be able to chuckle and remain silent when some non member asks about it.
