Wellington Karaoke Night?

Well, I'd heard talk of the possibility of all us Wellingtonians (and surrounds) going to make fools of ourselves, at a Karaoke bar.

I've asked around, and it seems "K Bar" somewhere in Wgtn CBD is a rather good place? I remember CSL saying one was pretty seedy, hope it wasn't that one. So, how many of you would be up for it?

Oh god I hope so, the whole idea scares the crap out of me. I think I'd need some Dutch courage, and someone to push me up... Oh, and the majority of the people there to participate aswell.

Hmmmm. I'm not a karaoke fan I have to say. I'd pop in for a drink and a chat but I'd run off if anyone tried to get me up the front.

Aways wanted to try karaoke.

But timing and Cashflow would dictate if I could be there.

If someone was to organised one in Hamilton, or Tauranga, that would be easier for me to attend. :spudbooge

I'll be in for a drinking session, but buggered if I'd sing. Bec is real keen on that, but the problem is the music they play is just painful.

How about just a session at the Southern Cross (or whatever it is called these days, oh yeah, Zebos) garden bar in nice weather.

forget the singing though.

The music that they play may be painful but the videos that go with them are absolutely hilarious!!! Really really badly made "video-overs".

Speaking as a regular winner of drunken PS2 SingStar competitions, I can say that, were I in Wellytown, I'd happily turn up and participate.

I'd be on my own, though; Sarah has made a vow never to accompany me to a karaoke bar, ever again.

In any case, I'm up here, not down there, so I'll just have to be with you in spirit.
