    Front Stands now for sale

    Universal front paddock stand.

I have spent a long time looking into making a front paddock stand. I looked at what is on the market and the different styles. Of the under the fork design they appeared to be slightly unstable and/or lacked suitable lateral adjustment as you changed/upgraded your bike. So I decided to make my own design completely. I have designed a front stand that adjusts laterally to fit the size of any bike and provides a secure lock onto front forks themselves. These stands allow the removal of front wheel, calipers, disks, pads etc. An additional feature of the design is that the attachments can double as bobbin hooks on the rear stands that I make as the supports are completely interchangeable.

    So here are the specs:

Frame made of 1 inch steel pipe (very strong), with a wall thickness of 3.2mm. Wheels are solid nylon 80mm. Supports are zinc coated threaded rod welded to laser cut lifting hooks which run through tapped holes in the frame. I have inserted a solid nylon button on the face of the hook to prevent any scuffing. Hooks are dipped in plastic to protect them against corrosion, scratches etc. Frame is powder coated. Frame has 2 nylon protectors underneath to protect the stands paint from the garage floor.

Similar operating design to my rear stands. Once you have lined up the lifters you don’t need to keep readjusting them as the threads hold them in place.

As a note you must use the front stand in conjunction with a rear stand. Front stands used by themselves are potentially unstable.
I am keeping the price in line with the rear stands current reduced price of $99.
Feel free to ask questions, come round etc....

That is the one style the stand won't work on. Caliper mounts that are basicaly all the way to the base of the forks. All the lifting hooks need to operate is 50mm clearance from base of fork up . Which is the vast majority of bikes. Just not that one I am afraid!

Actualy bike is a bit of a mess from some crash damage too.

Yes could be possible to use front as a rear stand, but only on small capacity bikes.

Hi Jonno. I am sure they'll fit on your bike. If it doesn't send it back.
