they use l m electraplating is Aussie (victoria) we use them as well, they do a job that is as good if not better than genuine, we have had over 20 barryls done from 85cc to 500 and never had a problem, way better option than sleeving as we have had troubles with cold seizures with sleeved barryls, i can give you their details if you want to deal direct, only real drawback is time off the bike, it is about a month turnaround by the time you send it, they fix it and then send it back

I'd be interested in this deal. It anything like nicasil plating or it indeed the same thing? I've got an NSR barrel that needs some work, if I can't get a new one that is.

And Te Puke is the shiznit. Denny Hulme's buried just up the road there even. I'm born and bred and just moved back here, can't stand that Auckland deal no longer! And the job fell in.

That's OK then...in that recent TV show,I'd have put Denny on top of the list...the Bear was our greatest sportsman.

They will just send it to Aussie Electrosil (adds in Aussie dirtbike or just google). I used another aussie one but had an issue.

I have used US Chrome with good results, not too expensive. Just posted it there. If you Post with courier option they go through fast & customs tack on a quick charge, normal airpost.

You must write something like ‘2nd hand engine parts for repair or recondition’ or they will charge you gst maybe both directions.

US chrome is like (maybe year old sheet) $165US for simple job & up to $219US if weld repair required first. Have to strip out powervalves etc.

These guys are probably top of the replating tree tech wise. They are the only ones who do steel bore plating as well. Well the only ones that make it work. They do all the Nascar engines, but bikes are bread & butter.
