VMCC Trackday January 18th

The Victoria Motorcycle club will be running a trackday at Manfield on Sunday January 18th, 2009. We will run the usual 4 groups and cap numbers at 120. It is free for volunteers who have helped with the Actrix Winter Series. $20 for members and $60 for non-members. First in first served. The following times are approximate but we will be doing sign-on/registration from 7.30, riders briefing 8.45, on the track at 9.

I let my Vic club membership lapse this year due to not racing in the winter series.But if i turn up on the day and renew can i qualify for the $20 entry?

The Scotsman in me reckons it'll be round the same as non members entry all up.

I seem to remember this is how i first joined VMCC at one of your trackdays as it was included in the price.

We aren't planning on doing that this year simply because of the extra admin it creates on the day. Plenty of time to join before then though.

That has happened in the past when the club has been in a stronger financial position. We had a couple of very expensive years for the club that ate away at the reserves so we are exercising a bit of restraint at the moment. It's looking good for the future though.

Sounds like a fun day...What sort of numbers do you normally get as not keen to drive for 4 hours and miss out

Night before bro ! couple of cheap motels in fielding or i'm sure you'll find there is a lot of fielding KBers that would be appy to put ya up

Not planning on any lie downs .. will do my usual nana ride around, with a biggggggggg grin on my face though
