don't put that rumour around - I'd be hung drawn and quartered if 'her' thought I was going to do the Grand challenge.
I'm on thin ice as it is.
I work too hard and have a young family to think about - work life balance/ bike wife balance
Lifes Just one big ride - buckle up or hang on

Thinking about it. Problem is none of us here really like riding in the dark. Abit like Bnonn. Want to be able to see the road not just what's in the headlight beam.

I'll have to try sorting something out on weekend once I get my bike all sweet and upgraded.

Well at a streech we could get over to Tauranga, but you'll have to organise some money on the bar for the out-of-towners

There's a cool ride along the base of the Kaimais - old Te Aroha road, turn off the TG to Matamata main road and it weaves along the kaimais into the back of Te Aroha - past the kaimai tunnel.
Been thru there in my skyline a few times - wicked road, air time guaranteed

MAte, I'm upgraded my front suspension, replacing the engine mounts with solid mounts, replacing my starter clutch, having the scoops polished and probably chromed if I can find a place to do it cheap enough, and repainting all the faded spots of paint on my engine.

I won't have money to buy drinks for a while yet lol.

Makes the motor a stressed part of the frame or something like that.

Makes it more rigid and helps keep the frame from flexing too much. 1980s technoligy man, I've also got to get the swingrm braced cause that's basically made out of exhaust tubing.
I figure that with the frame braces I lready have should eliminate that wobble when cornering at decent speeds.

Not a chance. MY bike's in the garage at the moment with no front end and the left side of the motor lying next to the bike on the ground lol.
