    MotoGP Race in Italy (Spoiler)

Wow! What a race! Any1 else watch it and agree?

From the start it was chopping and changing! It was like a 125cc race on 800cc bikes. At last Rossi got his victory and his 6th consecutive one on his home track!

    Yep. Good stuff 4 sure.
The Duk's early speed advantage seemed to vapourize and the straight was long enough where the Duk's had previously done the damage.
Rossi's guys seem to have found some more horses to even up the bikes.

Actually they kept the speed advantage the whole race

Rossi about 300-302 down the straight
    Factory Dukes ~310
    Barros 315 kmhr-1

Rossi and Pedrosa just had it through the rest of the track, even the Honda's speed advantage was not enough to keep with the Doctor this race!

That was always going to be the case going back to the European track where the emphasis is on maintaining a faster corner speed.

Perhaps we will be looking at the Pedrosa/Rossi fight we were so looking forward to at the start of the season.

What would you do now if you were Nicky Hayden though?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

All three races were great to watch. Well done Rossi. I thought Lorenzo's race in the 250's was brilliant to come from the back.

Ever notice that anyone slower than you is an idiot, but anyone going faster is a maniac?

Best race I've seen for a while, certainly no thoughts of nodding off while it was on. It was good to see that 4 different makes were in with a show of the podium and Kawasaki not too far off as well. Got to feel sorry for Hayden actually, wins the championship for honda on a bike that was developed for their little favourite Pedrosa and their still obviously spending all the time looking after Pedrosa and leaving Hayden out to dry this season again. No wonder Rossi left them.

My money is on him replacing capirossi at ducati next year. Honda have shafted him completly, all their efforts are behind pedrosa now. If he can't get a ride on a duke then who knows, maybe kenny's team, lol.

Might be poor old Colin Edwards there before him, usually qualifies good but stuffs up in the actual races. Thought he was in with a chance this year too.(not no 1 but a few podium finishes).
