Good lord, you do have an enclosed garage, don't you Justin? Can't quite remember.

    The skies are leaking again.

Nothing a good sturdy dose of Colonel Hitchers HTFU won't cure son!

Right, loading the tools into the cage and heading off to the place of merriment!

(Want me to pick ya up Xerxes? Bwahaha...)

Pansy. You're the one in the cage, remember!

I'll be there at about 6.30 I think. I need food before I can lift spanners.

Aha! There were some HTFU pills taken!

Well tonight was wet, wild and windy - no, it wasn't Wellington, but it was a most magnificient gathering of a motley few who did the deed on Dandi.

It started with Donor and I setting the scene (i.e. talking shite, doing shite all and farf'n around). Things didn't really kick off until Bass turned up and then we talked some more shite, did shite all ... until xerxesdaphat turned up. And it went downhill from there.

Much bandying of bawdy jokes, denigration of one's parentage and male appendages (or lack of), my lame one-hand excuses (ooh so sore so solly!) and we chucked bits off Dandi with alarming alacrity!

Then, hell froze over, the parting of the red seas - Big Dave turned up. He dominated the roost by parking himself on a rickety chinese ladder seat and gave us plenty of anecdotes to keep the crew amused.

Much mirth, mutterings and references to "cold chisels and a big hammer", "get in/out of there you b*tch", "what the feck do we do now?" sort of carry on

Good honest, manly fun. Played with tools, power tools, got injured, got dirty and threw our toys out of the cot when it didn't go our way!

    Right. Time for piccies.

    Ya, it was really fun!

So I caged it - the bungy cords didn't really feel secure holding the tool chest on my back, orright??

What a kick ass night though, met 3 excellent KB blokes, supped an ale or two, scoffed more fush and chups than my arteries would have liked me to and stripped a dirty woman NEKKID!

    Rock on next spanner night!

Jiminy Crickets! Those are some keen as shots there Dave - thanks for being the sane one there and getting some record of the night. And yes... have taken advice on board and will be getting some of those "benches" that we can work on and put stuff on rather than squatting like a chinaman..

I just like watching white men squat like that ...

What a bunch of weak geezers you lot are. I'm the only one who turned up on a frigging bike FFS! What's more, you all stand around talking until I ask for a screwdriver and start doing some work

Although Bass did have to go and get his impact driver because my pussy hands couldn't get the screws out

looks like fun was had by all , hopefully I can make it to the next one.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

    What we could do,
Seeing we have pics the bike as in its primordial state.

is every time you have a decent session on it, bolt stuff on - put it back together - take a photo of it. From the same position or aspect every time if you can.

Keep a rough inventory too. Note the hours it takes as well - include it in the thread if you like - log it.

Note here that was 6th of july 'start'.

Record your costs and we'll follow it through - I'll come and take some pics of its track day debut and we'll do a feature on 'You wanna go racing?' Here's how to do it for $X and we'll run it in Kiwi Rider.

You can even write something on the experience GI - what would a by line do for classroom cred? ;-)

Put your progress reports on here or start a new thread.

    Plan?

Ah - excellent yer already on it - just spotted the other thread - carry on.
