You can go to www.tumonz.co.nz to find out more and purchase online. It's great for organising rides, as it can plot the route and show you turn by turn directions. You can also put any route into a line height profile to show you the side on view of your proposed ride.

22, 23 to Whatawhata on to 39 (those wanting a short route could go via 1 and turning down 39 at Ngaruawhia). 8 mile junction will take you to the wrong end of Taupo Lake. Better turning at Te Kuiti down 30 through Benneydale to Kinleith, Down 1 to the Orakei Korako turn-off. Through there to Mihi and down 5 or turn off 1 later at Palmer Mill Rd (Sister live down that road) through to 5. Then accross the raod that pass the Wairakei Dam Spill-way through to the road that the Taupo Track is on.

Been looking at TUMONZ and have decided that SH1 then left onto Tutukau Rd (Orakei Koako turn-off). Then right at "T" onto SH5, and 2nd left onto Ohaaki Rd. Right at "T" again onto Broadlands Rd which goes pass Taupo Track (the track would be on your right). This would put less time on the SH's (hopefully less promblems with our mates ). Will be looking into the SH30 to SH1 via Atiamuri or Kinleith next to see what might be the best option.

He's fine see him at work sometimes when our shifts cross. He's not done much riding since he blew the turbo. I'll say hi next time I see him. Have to go to work for a couple of hours 2morrow to do a course will catch up with him then.
