Haven't seen the episode tonight, but watched last night on TV3,came over fine but nervous and rightly so(hell I used to do pre-recorded sports reports for Saturday radio and was hard work).
If anyone has a valid camera friendly articulate person who can voice the cause please advise,I'm sure Les will give all the info and step aside if required.
Till then shut the fuck up critics. He has spoken in general people speak which is understood by all,not the PR speak the corporation uses, and puts the issues accross in a non emotive way,but pleads the cause to all willing to listen.

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

Mrs. B and I watched Les on TV. Thought he looked like a regular guy - not a hoon. I thought Les' best comment was when he said imagine you've just had a 300% increase in a fee (doesn't matter what its about). This comment alone would strike a chord with the masses as sharp increases (be it petrol, milk, cheese etc...) have affected us all.
Job well done (and good stats to boot).

Well that’s how it should be, but in the real world having the biggest voice works best. The challenge is 62 million, the answer is, spread it evenly, $40 approx per vehicle. Or is the privatisation issue the real one.
Has every biker sent messages of discontent to their local MP, to the list MP’s , to the Honourable Minister Of Transport and the PM?? ps letters are free post why not flood parliment and alll MP's offices??
As a last retort don’t shoot the messenger you may be the next one!
Bike on forever
