Whipe your mouth White Trash, you talk some rubbish.
Unless your planning to be stopped every hour to explain why you were traveling faster than 120 to the olice:, it'll take you around 3-3.5 hours if you avererge 120kph.
It only takes 45mins from Vegas, you do the math.
Unless you have one of those new jet bikes???

I probably wont have my bike by then anyway.
    Can non-KB members come along??

Trash Mouth, I was meaning to ask you.
I'm getting a K&N to go with my RS3 (hopefully) and wanted to know if you can get your bike re-mapped / tuned by a shop or whether you need to go the full hog and buy a PC.
    Your thoughts??

We'll see who gets to Taupo first.....

Smile Hastings and Napier K/B's and friends

Hastings people leave Dave Whitaker Honda at 9am
Meet Napier and others at the Bayview BP at 9.30.
All welcome. Just turn up at either place. We have a few slower riders coming along so will suit every one to come. Fast bikes set the pace and the rest will enjoy the ride at a speed they like. Regroup at the track.
See you all at the track. Happy riding everyone and I note the weather forecast is for showers but I recon it will be fine :sneaky2:

    Question

Is anyone going down from Auckland on Saturday and then coming back up on the Sunday? Save doing 2 hauls and track on one day.
I am thinking of going down on Sat overnighting somwhere, going to the pub then having a big lie in and breakie before hitting the track just before 12. After the track haul back North to home in Henderson, Auckland.

Anyone interested in ride down on Sat?
Anyone recommend a good, cheap, place in the area with beer on tap, (not a back packers)? Maybe one of those old country pub/hotel places.

Ohhh I see now. A sense of humour emerges from the Hodge-star. Steady on big guy, you'll end up like Jrandom or Wari in no time. Then no oe will ever take you seriously.

You dont need a PC to retune your bike as you're one of the chosen and ride a FI Suzuki (which everyone knows are the best). TEKA tune is what you need son, I'll discuss the finer points with ya on Sunny-day.

Non-KBers are welcome, they'll just be bombarded with reasons they should join.

Cool, what would boys like you charge for such an outstanding service to one of the chosen few. I doubt my local shop would have such a device?
I would be looking at a trip to Colemans for such a job probably, right??

I'll be bringing my older brother from Taupo, who loves bikes, who is an auto machanic at Central Motor Group in Taupo, and is between bikes as he is building a house.

    Cheers Trash Man!

P.S. How will I know how to find you on Sunday??
Do I look out for the Yellow SUZUKI?? -> Like there isn't many of those....

Mate, I haven't had a yellow Suzuki for months.

Look for the skinny, goateed, loud, obnoxious, Hraley shirt weraing prick in a sea of sports bike riders. That'll be me.

Or ask the person driving the Welly Motorcycles ute.

Just having a read up about Teka Tuning, looks like it would be the shizza!

I think I remember Colemans saying they had a Yoshi Box, so the Teka Tune, would obviously give better results.

Te Kumi Shell on your left as you come into Te Kuiti on SH3 would be good. There's a petrol station in Bennydale but it was not open when I past it on Sunday.

FYI Wises.co.nz lists Otorohanga as about 185km from Barrys Point Rd, and Te Kuiti at around 205km travelling via Pirongia. Might make a difference to those with smaller fuel tanks/thirsty twins.
