Certainly. The cheaper the better. Just picked up a good secondhand front tyre today for $10. Plenty of tread left, like about 8,000kms worth.

Just throw 750mls of the Wharehouse's finest red in after every 500kms and she'll be right mate.............

And the added bonus is it never needs the oil changing cause its getting replaced every 3000ks anyway.

Never done the MX thing, but seriously contemplating getting a small capacity trail bike for extended jaunts off the main roads.

Fresh oil and filter at 5000kms though. Must get around to checking the tappet clearances. Haven't been checked for around 13,000kms. Mind you as they say a rattly tappet is a happy tappet.

there is something about having an endless destination cos you can go anywhere almost... Also getting all out of shape in mid air, or having the rear go into power slides itching you to give it more throttle to keep it there and not getting high sided is great...

lol Garry yes it does... However, if you are riding with others, you normally get dirtier... Someone in front will always be the smart arse and spray you with mud....All part of the fun...
