Actually, this gives me a cunning idea. OK, so it may not be cunning, but it is an idea: A couple of years back I was on a group ride to Hanmer, the pace was illegal, we were all doing it, and one poor bloke got pinged. At the time I thought it would be reasonable if we all dipped into our pockets and gave the poor bugger a tenner or something, but as it was my first ride with the group I didn't speak up.
Maaaaaybee, we could form a KB crash fund? Ahh, who am I kidding? It would never work.
IM keen for that... i think my bike is the worst, so can i have first dibbs???

Bad luck Aaron Glad your ok mate Anyone that is only 4 seconds off WT is quick in my books...

Hey WT, bring me a spare tank and front brake rotor and ill race ya at Taupo on my 600 (probably still get my arse whooped) otherwise its only going to be me representing the Auckland Crew and my bike has half the capacity of his
See Robert Taylor for any Ohlins requirements www.northwest.co.nz

I wouldn't be signing him up for MotoGP just yet! Its a good F3 time, the F3 lap record is 1.38.01, the 125 record was 1.38.86 before the NZGP in Dec and the Superbike record is 1.32.08 !! Stroudy on the Britten from 1995!!!
But it is prettyt good for someone who hadnt seen the track before on a track day, I'm sure he'd be faster under race conditions!

Jimmie put the trash out @ Runapuna

Both of the lads put on a good show.... so I'm told bit hard to see for my self when I'm blowing into my visor in order to gain more speed at an atempt to keep up, it was good having Deano there too as both VTR's are closley matched.

Heres a few pic's people, not the best tho as it was my camera but K14 was using it so he wasent used to the bloody thing.

    1) Guess who
    2) Deano
    3) Trash
    4) Dangerous
    5) Haydon
    6) Aaron

Big up's to the Northern Possie. It's not true what people say, you really are a nice bunch! It was a pleasure to meet y'all.

Aaron - Respect to you mate. You rode well and took the tumble and beating with dignity.
Dangerous - Thanks for not dropping the Biff Bird.
WT - Respect. Say no more. You're a class act. But next freakin time you pull those stunts please make sure the video camera is pointed at you!

Talking about videos - I've just transferred mine onto the PC and will begin editing tonight or tomorrow. If there's anyone else out there that has some video of the day that they could flick me, I could sure use it.

True, but then look at F3 bikes... Hayden Fitzgerald was doing low 1:03's at Pukekohe... thats quicker than some 600 Supersport times!!!

Well i ordered some TBR adjustable clipons today so the mighty R1 should be back on the road this week Minus fairing

And have organised a mate to do the paint (but i aint telling ya's what) so ya can make good things come outa miss haps.

Plus my border has the same model R1 so if i need to go pop some wheelies i can(or just steel parts )

Good work to both Aaron and WT for repairing their bikes almost as fast as they ride them!
