What is the deal with it?

Not trolling here, just genuinely interested to get the story behind it.
The KKK was formed by a few scottish americans at the end of the civil war. Its name was based on the greek word kyklos which means circle - klan, because they were scottish.

The confed flag comes into it, because they were part of the confederate army. However, I cant remember when the confed flag was used for symbolism, I think it may have been only recently in the 60s or so.

The flagpole's arrived. OK people, stand at attention facing the flag with your right hand over your heart and pledge allegiance to the flag.

Sudden flashbacks to being forced to do the pledge of aligence as a child *shudders*

    The flag looks wicked though.

    Just let me know when.

I was hoping to use one of my rifle bags to carry the pole and base, but they are not quite long/wide enough, so I've ordered a carry bag from the flag makers but it only has carry handles. I will have to get it modified to have a shoulder strap added so I can carry it on the bike.

You should just do like the americans, get a 6foot flagpole welded to the back of your bike and ride along with the flag waving around at the back.

Sure you'd start a convoy in no time.

I need to get a pole bag made to carry the mobile flag pole on the bike. Something 4 foot long with a shoulder strap. The U base fits into my backpack, sort of, sticks out a bit but should be ok.

So if anyone can get one made or knows of a good place to get it made?

Was chatting to someone 2 days ago about the flag. He makes flags, flag holders ect. I'll PM you his number as soon as I find it Spank.
