But seriously 6,000kms in 15 years???

Botany are getting a 1990 model with 8,XXX k's on the clock, it's on a boat somewhere.....

Red Baron have one - but they want $7K for something thats done 56,XXXkms......

I ain't interested in spending anymore than 4k on a bike and no more than a grand more on maintenance over the next six months (excluding crashing and breaking things).

If these fellas want 6-7K for a bloody 250 I'll drive a cage till I get my full.

You should find something easy for 4k. You'd probably get a better condition ZXR than a CBR though.
You could get a Balius for that, just as fast :P

Was the Balius really that fast or was it your skills???

I like the look of faired bikes though......

I really shouldn't be buying this bike - gonna take a sweet 4k chunk out of the house deposit fund (which is hilariously small as it is)..........but I'm a fool and even more foolish when it comes to bikes.....

    Hmmm - yeah -- - sorry

So have you got a new route??

NOTE: IF YOU HAVE A NEW ROUTE - PLEASE EITHER PM IT TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE COMING OR UNVEIL IT ON THE DAY.

We don't want the boys in blue deciding to "post" a few white/blue/orange cages behind a bush you guys may be passing. Believe me they read these posts a lot more regularly than you think.

Have you finalised a cafe/lunch spot??? It may pay to tell the owner that he/she may expect a group of bikes turn up. That way the last guy doesn't have to wait 3 days for his tukka to get cooked, as happened to some of us a while back........

    Awesome stuff organising this

    So who's bringing the cameras???

Course you should be buying a bike - have you considered a 2 smoker? less moving bits, more powers!

some 2 smokers on tradme, below

This one is where the RGV's got good IMO - banana swingarm, both pipes on the same side, usd forks etc i think the rear rim is17' X 5.5 inch you can run a nice 160 on it.

This one is older but still not to bad

hey is a 89 , but you were thinking of a 90 cbr 250, cheap and fast, may not be the nicest power spread, but just takes some getting used to, the 4cyl 4 stroke 250's dont have a lot of torque, so there is not much bottom end loss between that ad the 2 smoker

    another banana arm model http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...p-15398234.htm
funny Duc style paintjob - must have small penis

Have you taken your bike over any sweet jumps?
