JSG, some of it might have to do with the people you ride with, I've been on a few KiwiBiker rides now and choosing them carefully is important, especially when it comes to the company you'll be having.

Good company usually indicates a nice relaxed ride, fast or not, but it will always be relaxed.

Thumbs up Another great KB ride!

I had a superb day's riding, the new gearing on my Blade increased the 'fun-factor' by about 50% meaning I was also able to save a considerable amount of tread on my front tyre lol!

Thanks for your company everyone, I counted 10 bikes at one stage and it narrowed down to a comfortable 8 for the majority of the ride.

As has been said the weather was ideal for motorcycling, apart for the last 30mins when we got rained on and Korumba revealed his yellow condom lol, at least none of us broke down in it like that Harley rider!

The awesome northland roads were in pretty good nick with some roadworks here and there to slow us down, some of that thick gravel was quite challenging as I watched Tillers rear end fishtailing from side to side through it...good consistent leading pace throughout the ride btw Tiller!

BIG thanks to TL Rider for organising the ride, and to both you and Duc-Gurl for your hospitality and giving me a bed for the nite. The ride back to Ak today was horrendous with gale force winds and heavy rainfall, i had no 'hairy' moments but did get blown around alot and had to concentrate heaps more, got totally soaked through and had one of the most soothing showers in my life when i arrived home!!

    Keep the rubber side down.

Ok, now for the extended verson.

Yes I turned up to a ride, I stopped talking shit and turned up - well I just about didnt

Anyway, Arrive at the meeting point TL and company talking shit about as per normal, took off through our mint roads at a good pace, meet with the auckland couple, since the rest of you panses couldnt make it, to busy typing or something?.

Anyways day continued without incident good to finally meet all the whangarei crew, made myself look like a toss turning up last at most of the meeting points - but hey I didnt throw the bike in the ditch.

I quietened down worried about the repercussions of the shit I talked, so played it cool, blaming the fucked chain on my preformance

Started to get to grips with the bike towards the end of the day, everyone was mint waiting and such for me.

All in all good day, great bunch of people and bloody great roads, oh and zed - you impressed me. (i didnt say that)

    4 life.

Thanks for organising it TL, Duc and Co
